Christian shows us a photo of his ankle and he says that he might be out of action for a few months. Christian does not know if he will be the same again. The fact is that he is no longer on the Survivor Series and he is off Team Barrett. Christian says that he will continue to support Team Barrett on to victory. Christian says that he is special and he inspires everyone to be better.

Christian says that normally he would be asking for ‘One More Match’ for the World Title, but now he would like just one more match…any match. That dream has been taken away by Teddy Long and his incompetence. Christian talks about the lack of respect from the WWE Universe. He wonders if they even care that he is injured. Christian asks the simpletons one more time if they care that he is injured. Christian wants to know if they care that he is walking around in constant pain. Christian says that he is a human being and he has feelings.

Christian tells Teddy Long that there will be severe consequences for what he did. Christian says that he has never been more embarrassed for a collection of people than what he is looking at tonight. Christian tells them all good riddance as he hobbles to the back.

Wade Barrett & Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton & Sheamus
Sheamus and Rhodes start things off and they lock up. Sheamus backs Rhodes into the corner but Rhodes with kicks to the knee and he applies a front face lock but Rhodes is tossed to the mat and he retreats into his corner and he tags in Barrett. Barrett with a kick to the midsection followed by punches and knees. Sheamus with punches of his own but Barrett with punches too. Sheamus with a back elbow and he gets a near fall.

Sheamus puts Barrett in the ropes and he connects with a series of forearms across the chest. Sheamus with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Barrett with a back heel kick and a flying forearm to Sheamus and he gets a near fall. Sheamus with a knee to the back and he connects with forearms and knees. Barrett with a surfboard but Sheamus gets to his feet. Sheamus with elbows and he backs Barrett into the corenr and connects with an arm drag.

Orton is tagged in and he hits two clotheslines and then Orton avoids a clothesline from Barrett and it is power slam time. Orton sees Barrett on the apron and he tries for the IEDDT and he hits it. Orton stares into the crowd and then he twists into position as he pounds the mat for the RKO.

Cody Rhodes tries to attack Orton from above but the viper senses the predator and he turns around and kicks Cody as he comes off the turnbuckles and then Orton gets Cody on his shoulders and hits a neck breaker driver. Barrett with a big boot to Orton and we go to commercial.

We are back and Rhodes is in control of the match with punches and a gourdbuster for a near fall. We see that Christian has come to ringside. Barrett tags in and he punches Orton and connects with elbows. Barrett with more punches but Orton with a punch of his own. Barrett with a kick but Orton with punches. They exchange punches until Barrett connects with a knee to the midsection.
Rhodes tags in and he stomps on Orton’s head. Rhodes with a double under hook but Orton gets out of the hold and he hits a back body drop. Barrett tags in but Barrett knocks Sheamus off the apron to stop Orton from making the tag. While the referee deals with Sheamus, Barrett and Rhodes double team Orton. Barrett with a neck breaker followed by a knee drop for a near fall. Barrett with a reverse chin lock.

Orton with punches to get out of the hold and Orton hits a neck breaker and both men are down. Rhodes tags in and so does Sheamus. Sheamus with running double sledges to the head and then he sends Rhodes into the corner and he connects with forearms followed by a running clothesline into the corner. Sheamus comes off top and hits a flying shoulder tackle. Sheamus knocks Barrett off the apron and Sheamus sets for the Brogue Kick but Christian hits Sheamus with his crutch and the referee calls for the bell.
Winners: Sheamus & Randy Orton

After the match, Rhodes hit Beautiful Disaster on Sheamus. Orton closes in on Christian but Barrett hits Orton from behind and Barrett sends Orton into the ringside barrier. Rhodes and Barrett double team Sheamus in the corner. Christian hands Barrett his crutch and before Rhodes can use it, Sheamus with a Brogue kick to Cody. Sheamus picks up the crutch and he hits Barrett in the ribs a few times and then the back. Orton with an RKO on Barrett. Sheamus gets Cody and he hits the Celtic Cross.

WWE.com has learned from WWE medical personnel that Christian suffered a severe high ankle sprain while competing on WWE’s recent overseas tour throughout Europe. The severity of the sprain has made it impossible for him to compete as a member of Team Barrett against Team Orton at Survivor Series this Sunday.

Christian’s ankle injury is further compounded by what transpired a week prior on SmackDown, during which Christian claimed to have suffered a neck injury as the result of a chokeslam at the massive hands of Big Show.

At this point in time, no replacement has been named, nor has it been determined whether or not Team Captain Wade Barrett will be leading a four-man team into Survivor Series this Sunday.

From me, here at Instant Classic, I just want to take the time to wish Christian a speedy recovery!

Christian suffered an ankle injury during the European tour and flew home early. No update at press time. The injury occurred during a match with Sheamus in Belgium. As I’m told this was a complete freak accident.

He did a baseball slide and caught his right toe on the apron and his ankle twisted around 180. They then went to a finish and referee’s helped Christian to the back.

Sheamus def. Christian after a Brogue Kick.

Sheamus received a huge pop when he came out. The fans loved him! This was a really great match that lasted about 15 minutes. The finish came when Christian was about to hit the Spear, but Sheamus countered with a huge Brogue Kick to win the match.

November 6th – Cardiff, Wales
Next was the main event of Orton & Show vs. Henry & Christian. Major pops for Orton and Big Show when they made their entrances. Henry and Christian got decent heat, too.

Randy Orton & Big Show def. World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry & Christian. This one started with a posing contest between Christian and Orton, Show then got involved by grabbing the house mic and did a really good Hulk Hogan impression by taunting Christian by saying “What’cha Gunna do when The Viper RKO’s you Brother?” This was a decent match with all four participants getting their fair share of in-ring action. There was one scary moment when Mark Henry appeared to drop Big Show on his head following a suplex (something that really should not be attempted!). Both Christian and Orton had their hands on their head following the spot, and Henry did look a little concerned. Show quickly regained his composure, but soon tagged out of the match to allow him some time to recuperate on the outside. This bout ended with Big Show grabbing both Henry and Christian for the chokeslam. Show then tossed Christian to Orton to hit the RKO while Show simultaneously chokeslammed Henry. With both Christian and Henry out for the count, Orton and Show pinned their opponents for a double pin and the win to send the crowd home happy.

Novemer 7th – Birmingham, England
Sheamus def. Christian via the Brogue Kick.

Sheamus picked up Christian’s shirt and did a cute little bull charge with the shirt. The kids seemed to like it, but wasn’t Sheamus going to kill Christian last Smackdown? Christian slid out and got the mic, saying he had more teeth than the whole population of Birmingham, and threatened to walk out if he wasn’t shown respect.

Christian started walking out but Sheamus ran to him and threw him back in. Good match, if you have seen any of their matches you have seen this one. It just seemed like to opponents that had each other scouted, and they worked that psychology really well. Sheamus kicked out of the spear, and when Christian went for another Sheamus made him eat a Brogue Kick for the 1-2-3. Sheamus was over like crazy with the kids, and made sure to slap every hand at ringside.

November 9th – Brussels, Belgium
Sheamus def. Christian.

Christian came out with the neckbrace and told us it was Big Show’s fault because that he was chokeslammed last week on Smackdown. We started the “one more match” chant, and the crowd followed . Christian actually got a decent pop. Sheamus came out and the WWE Universe got wild. But it was a very short match. After 5 minutes, Sheamus gave Christian a Brogue Kick to win.

Orton looks around and then he says that when Teddy Long told him that he would be captaining his own Survivor Series team, he told Teddy that he doesn’t play well with others. Every team or group he has been a part of in WWE has imploded, usually with him doing something horrible to what once were his friends. Orton says that he might not be a leader, but he is not a follower. He has no problem being the team captain.

Orton says that he has no problem giving Cody Rhodes the beating of his life, again. He has no problem shutting up Christian’s mouth once and for all. He says that he doesn’t really know Jack Swagger that well and he doesn’t know Hunico at all, but he will have no problem to do what he must because they got in his way. Orton says that he especially has no problem.

Orton is interrupted by the man who he was going to talk about, Wade Barrett. Wade makes his way into the ring and he asks Orton what he has no problem with. Barrett says that Orton was going to say that he has no problem with Wade Barrett. Barrett says that Orton has a huge problem with him. The problems he gave Orton in the past will pale in comparison to what he is going to do to Orton at Survivor Series.

Barrett says that he has been a part of many groups, but he was never the leader at the start. However, he is a natural born leader and people have gravitated to him. He says that Orton is a natural born predator, someone that people are not going to trust.

The fans chant for an RKO and then Barrett says that the Barrett Barrage that has swept over Smackdown will continue at the Survivor Series. Barrett says that he has achieved a lot, but he has never been the World Champion. He needs to have Orton out of the picture to show the world that he is Orton’s in ring superior. That is exactly why his team is going to be victorious at Survivor Series.

Barrett asks Orton if he is listening to him and Orton says that he is not listening to him. He is imagining how high Wade’s head would bounce off the mat after an RKO.

Christian’s music plays and he makes his way to the ramp and he has a neck brace on. Christian tells Randy that he will be the Yoko Ono of his team. Christian says that he is wearing the neck brace because of the choke slam he received from the Big Show. A choke slam he got for no reason. Christian says that it is the grace of God that he is here tonight. Christian says that he wanted to thank Wade Barrett for volunteering his services and beat Sheamus last week. Christian says that Barrett won because he inspires others to be better. Christian says that he declined Teddy Long’s offer to be the team captain because of his health situation. Christian says that he is endorsing Barrett as the captain of their team at Survivor Series. Christian says that they are all equals and he feels that their team is in sync. Christian says that it is time to send a message to Orton and his team.

Orton takes the initiative and he punches Christian but Barrett attacks Orton and it turns into a two-on-one situation. Sheamus’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he goes after Christian. Sheamus with a double sledge to Barrett and Orton throws Barrett to the floor. Sheamus goes after Christian’s neck brace and Christian leaves the ring.

Teddy Long comes out and he tells Christian that since he appears to be okay despite the neck brace, he will be facing Sheamus tonight. The main event is going to be a battle of the Survivor Series captains when Randy Orton faces Wade Barrett.

We go to commercial.

Sheamus vs. Christian
They lock up and Sheamus with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Christian slaps Sheamus but Sheamus with punches and forearms to Christian until the referee warns him. Sheamus with forearms across the chest while Christian is on the apron. Sheamus brings Christian back into the ring and Sheamus gets a near fall. Christian with a punch but Sheamus with a back body drop.

Sheamus sends Christian into the turnbuckles and he punches Christian followed by Irish whips and then he gets Christian over his head and then drops him to the mat. Christian goes to the floor and then Sheamus follows. Sheamus with punches to Christian. Sheamus tries to suplex Christian to the floor but Christian blocks it. Christian with a punch but when he tries to knock Sheamus to the floor with a shoulder tackle, Sheamus with a shoulder of his own followed by a slingshot shoulder tackle.

Christian goes back to the floor and Sheamus sends Christian into the announce table and he tries to send Christian into the ring post but Christian escapes the hold and he sends Sheamus shoulder first into the post. Christian with a drop kick from the turnbuckles and he gets a near fall. Sheamus punches Christian and then Sheamus charges at Christian and Christian drops down and Sheamus goes to the floor.

Christian tries for a pescado but Sheamus catches Christian and hits a fallaway slam that sends Christian into the ringside barrier. We go to commercial.

We are back and Christian with elbows to the head. Christian with a reverse chin lock on Sheamus. Sheamus with punches but Christian with a kick. Christian puts Sheamus in the ropes and Christian slingshots to the floor and he punches Sheamus in the face. Sheamus with punches to the midsection and then he sends Christian over the top rope to the floor but Christian lands on the apron and then he drops Sheamus’s neck onto the top rope.

Christian goes up top but he is met with a punch to the midsection from Sheamus. Christain with a punch but Sheamus with an Irish whip that sends Christian sternum first into the turnbuckles. Sheamus with running double sledges and then he punches Christian in the corner followed by a short arm clothesline and a standing power slam for a near fall.

Christian with a kick and then he tries for a sunset flip off the turnbuckles but Sheamus will not go down. Christian with another kick and then he goes to the turnbuckles but he is caught by Sheamus for the uranage back breaker and Sheamus gets a near fall. Sheamus with a kick and then he sets for the Celtic Cross but Christian gets away and punches Sheamus.

Christian goes to the turnbuckles for a cross body but Sheamus catches him and hits another fallaway slam. Sheamus with a clothesline into the corner and then he hits a running knee lift. Christian backs up and he kicks Sheamus in the knee and he follows that with a drop kick. Christian goes up top but Sheamus recovers and he connects with forearms to the neck.

They fight up top and Sheamus is knocked to the mat. Christian with an elbow and then he hits a pendulum kick when Sheamus charges into the corner. Christian with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Sheamus with a kick to the midsection and then he pulls himself up to the top turnbuckle and hits a flying shoulder tackle for a near fall.

Sheamus gets ready for the Brogue kick but Christian moves and he tries for the Killswitch. Sheamus avoids that and tries for a belly-to-back suplex. Christian lands on his feet and escapes the move. Christian goes for a spear but Sheamus sees it coming and he side steps Christian, who goes into the turnbuckles. Sheamus gets Christian up for the Celtic Cross and hits it and gets the three count.
Winner: Sheamus

After the match, Christian walks over to his neck brace that was against the ringside barrier and Christian puts it on.

Show tells Mark Henry that they have unfinished business from Vengeance. If Mark doesn’t understand, maybe Mark can ask Alberto Del Rio. Show says that every show that he doesn’t get the match, he is going to knock Mark out until he gets his match. Christian interrupts Big Show and he makes his way to the ring. Show asks Christian if he can help him and if Christian is lost.

Christian says that he heard Mark’s clever ‘mama said knock you out’ line so he figured that was it so he came out for his match against Sheamus. Christian asks Show a quick question, but he wants to know why Show deserves ‘One More Match’ for the World Title. Show asks if that is a trick question.

Christian says that he doesn’t come out to ask for one more match to annoy people. He does it because he deserves it. Show comes out and he is threatening violence on people. Christian wonders if he could knock people out, but he is not a violent person. He says that he isn’t from the South. He is from Canada. People do things a little differently.

Show makes a fist and Christian wants to know if he is going to punch him. He says that Show knocks people out to solve problems. Show says that he was just scratching his chin and he isn’t going to knock Christian out. Show is going to grab Christian by the throat and choke slam him.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Christian is at the announce table and he is still feeling the effects of the choke slam from Big Show.
The referee checks on Christian to see if he can wrestle while Sheamus makes his way to the ring.

Christian vs. Sheamus
Christian tells the referee that he cannot wrestle and then the referee tells Sheamus. Sheamus wants to know what to do.
Wade Barrett makes his way to the ring and he tells the fella to hold his horses. Wade says that it is quite obvious that Christian is in no state to compete tonight. He wants to suggest a suitable replacement and it is him.

Christian stays at ringside during the newly scheduled match between Wade Barrett and Sheamus. In the closing moment of the match, Sheamus signals for the Celtic Cross but when he gets Barrett up, Christian distracts Sheamus and that allows Barrett to get the three count with a rollup.

After the match, Sheamus grabs Barrett but he turns around and Christian with a spear on Sheamus. Barrett and Christian go up the ramp and to the back.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sheamus is attacking Christian in the back but Wade Barrett comes into the picture and he goes after Sheamus. Sheamus and Barrett go back and forth until security and other wrestlers can separate them.

For Sheamus, it was a chance to catch up with an old relative. The Celtic Warrior revealed his family ties with Beaker, assistant to Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. “There’s always one black sheep in the family, and that’s him,” he said. The Great White saved his ginger-haired cousin from Christian, who destroyed a special Muppet Labs potion Bunsen cooked up for Santino Marella.

It turns out Christian wasn’t thrilled with the Muppets invading the locker room. “Beaker ran into me like he owned the place. They walked around like they owned the whole show,” Captain Charisma growled.

He felt Beaker didn’t give him the respect that a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion deserves. “I was a little upset that he didn’t acknowledge the fact that I deserve one more chance to become the World Heavyweight Champion. That proves my theory that Muppets don’t have souls.”

Beaker bumps into Christian and Christian pours out the drink that was for Santino. Christian turns around and he sees Beaker’s brother from a different life form.

Christian walks away and we have a family reunion. Sheamus says that he can’t make it this year and he tells Beaker to tell Aunt Teresa hello. Sheamus fixes Beaker’s hair.

After the match, in which Air Boom took on the team of Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett, Christian goes after Kofi and then Barrett and Rhodes join in the attack. Sheamus’ music plays and he pulls Christian out of the ring and then he hits a Brogue Kick on Cody.
