Backstage, Trish Stratus was complaining to the WWE make-up lady about how she had been added to the Backlash match between Chris Jericho and Christian at Backlash. Eugene walked up and said hello to the makeup lady. Trish told Eugene that he should know who she is and gave him some hints. He called Trish a slut. William Regal apologized and took Eugene away. Christian walked up and told Trish not to worry about Eugene. He said he would take care of Jericho at Backlash and all she would have to do is pin Jericho 1, 2, 3. Christian hugged Trish and she complained that she wasn’t a slut.

Lita, who was the special guest on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel, was attacked by Trish from behind. Jericho left the ring as WWE officials broke it up. Eric Bischoff came out and said if they wanted to fight so bad, it would be Trish Stratus vs. Lita right now.

After they came back from commercial Lita was on the ground taking some hard kicks from Trish. Trish picked up Lita and threw her into the corner. Trish hit a few hard kicks as Christian made his way down the ramp. Jericho watched on as Lita hit some hard rights to Trish, but Trish hit a big kick to the gut and a kick to the head. Trish went for the cover, but only got a two count. Lita hit a monkey flip off the corner and Trish fought back with some hard rights followed by applying a headlock. Lita tried to fight out of it, but Trish threw her back down hard. Trish choked Lita on the bottom rope as the fans chanted “SLUT.”

Trish applied another headlock, Lita wormed out of it and nailed Trish’s head into the corner. Trish attempted the Stratusfaction off the ropes, but Lita counters into a backdrop. Lita went for the pin, but only got a two count. Lita hit another monkey flip, snap suplex, clothesline and went for the pin, but again only got a two count. Lita hit a clothesline in the corner and threw Trish to the outside. Lita jumped through the second rope and took out Trish. Lita punched Christian when he tried to interfere and Christian pushed her back into the guard railing. The referee called for the bell.
Winner: No Contest

After the bell rang, Christian hit the ring and Jericho followed after taking out Christian with a big elbow. Jericho then chases Christian out of the ring. Jericho and Trish were left in the ring and Jericho attempted to lock on the Walls of Jericho, but Christian broke it up. Christian hit some hard rights followed by throwing Jericho into the corner. Christian held Jericho so Trish could get some slaps in. Christian picked up Jericho and connected with the Unprettier. Christian picks up Jericho and hit another Unprettier. Jericho stumbled back to his feet and Trish nailed him with a big kick. Christian and Trish left the ring staring down Jericho in the ring.
